Refunds, Exchanges & Cancellations Policy
At Nanak Cakes and Bakery, we work hard to make every product exactly as discussed, approved and with love and care .
Thus to avoid any misunderstanding, please read carefully below, before placing an order
1) Quality & Design Assurance

We bake and decorate to the brief agreed in messages/consults and any reference images you provide.

Because every cake is handcrafted, gentle variations in colour, piping, texture and placement can occur.
2) Taste & Personal Preference

Flavour is personal. While our recipes are loved by many customers, everyone’s palate is different.

When a cake has been baked and decorated to the confirmed brief, we’re unable to offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for preferences about taste or texture.
3) “Inspiration Image” & Design Differences

Inspiration photos are guides only. Exact replicas aren’t guaranteed due to differences in tools, colours, and hand-piping.

If the cake matches the agreed brief, we can’t offer a refund because the final look differs from a personal expectation.
4) Returns (Food Safety)

For health and safety reasons, food items can’t be returned once collected/delivered. Please transport and store your cake as advised.
5) Order Changes & Cancellations

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time (before 11:00 am).

Within 24 hours, or between 24–48 hours of pickup: cancellation requests are considered case-by-case. Refunds are not guaranteed, and orders may not be cancellable depending on progress.

Where approved, a store credit may be offered (amount and validity at our discretion).
6) Refunds (Processing)

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method. Banks may take additional time to display funds.
7) Collection & Care

Once the cake leaves our store, responsibility for safe transport and storage rests with the customer. Damage after pickup isn’t eligible for refund/credit.
